Usage and billing in the Aetherfy dashboard

Where Aetherfy usage and billing live in the dashboard

Aetherfy billing is split across two pages of the dashboard:

AddressWhat it is
/dashboard/billingUsage in the sidebar: your plan, agent quota, this period’s usage and your vector storage
/dashboard/settings/billingSettings → BILLING, titled Plan & Payment: plan changes, payment method, spend limit, cancellation and invoices

How Aetherfy prices and charges is explained at Billing and spend caps; this page describes what the two screens show. Billing has no CLI or REST equivalent: plans, payment and the spend limit are set here, and payment details in the Stripe portal these pages open.

Aetherfy subscription status labels

Both pages show the plan with its subscription status, in capitals.

LabelMeaning
activePaid up
past_dueA payment failed. Shown as PAST DUE, through the grace period and, if it ends unpaid, through the suspension after it
canceledThe paid subscription ended; the account is on Free. Not a failure
UNKNOWNNo status could be read
Your agents and collections were deleted. The suspension ran its 30 days unpaid: the agents and vector collections were permanently deleted, with the stored secrets and the API keys. The account, the login and the billing history remain; resubscribing starts from scratch. Shown on every dashboard page with a link to Plan & Payment, which offers Manage Billing
Account suspended: a payment did not go through. The grace period ended unpaid and the account is suspended: agents are stopped and API requests are refused. It names the day the account’s data is kept until, 44 days after the payment that failed. Shown on every dashboard page with a link to Plan & Payment, which offers Update Payment Method

The failed-payment timeline — the grace period, suspension and when data is deleted — is at failed payments.

The Aetherfy usage meter

LabelMeaning
CURRENT PLANYour plan and its subscription status
AGENT QUOTADeployed agents against your plan’s limit. Archiving an agent frees its slot; pausing one does not
PLAN LIMIT REACHEDYou are at the agent limit; the link offers the next plan, or Contact Sales when that plan has no self-serve price
% of planUsage so far this period, as a share of what your plan includes. Usage inside the plan is never shown in dollars
Usage-basedYour plan’s allowance is unlimited, so there is no share of it to show
Usage is metered daily.Usage is booked by a daily update, so today’s usage appears once that update has run
Projected month-end:Where this period is heading, with a warning when it is on track to reach your spend limit
Spend limit:The period’s total against your spend limit, with — reached once it is hit
Agents — plan usageEach agent’s share of the period’s usage
PAUSEDBeside an agent: paused because the plan’s usage limit was reached
VECTOR DB USAGEVector storage used and the number of collections
Live usage meter is temporarily unavailable. Your plan and quota below are unaffected. The meter could not be read; nothing about your account changed

Past your plan’s allowance the figures switch to dollars: the overage so far, and the period’s total split into plan and usage. STRIPE PORTAL opens your Stripe billing portal; it is shown once the account has been billed through Stripe, and if the portal cannot be opened the page says why. The meter shows the current period only; past periods are the invoices on Plan & Payment. Per-agent usage events are also on the API, at GET /api/v1/usage/agent/{agent_id}/events.
